A new study out of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, found that female chimps will cry out during
sex to attract other high ranking male partners, but keep quiet during sex when high ranking females are around. The theory is that the female chimps, being rather promiscuous, are always seeking new mates to confuse
paternity and guarantee lots of high-ranking “child support”. Conversely, they keep their copulation calls quiet to avoid alerting other females to their presence. Read more at
